The fold-over color-blocked clutch Tutorial

Hello friends!, I made another clutch inspired by this. Is pretty much the same as the fold-over clutch. Just with a twist is a very easy and great project for beginners. :) Here is what you need.

For exterior pieces use heavy weight fabric you will need two colors.
2 - 10" tall x 13.5" wide (top)
2 - 5" tall x 13.5" wide (bottom)

Fusible Interfacing
2 - 10" x 13.5"
2- 5" x 13.5"

2- 15" tall x 13.5" wide

Zipper end tabs
2 - 3" tall x 1.5" wide

14" or larger zipper
zipper foot
sewing machine

Sew your main exterior pieces (top and bottom) facing right sides together

Press flat

and topstitch

Get the zipper tabs and fold it in half then as picture
cover the zipper end pin and sew

Next the fun part :) using your zipper foot

Place your front main exterior piece RIGHT side UP, then put the zipper teeth facing down with the pull tab to the left. finally put the lining piece WRONG side up and pin.

*Change to your normal sewing machine foot and OPEN your zipper halfway don't forget this part otherwise you won't be able to turn your bag right side out. ok Now put your exterior pieces facing RIGHT sides together same for the lining. SEW using a 1/4" seam allowance all the way around, leaving a 4"opening in the linning for turning your bag.

*Turn your bag right side out, sew the lining opening and press.

Filled it up with goodies and fold.
